An Exploration of Religious Gender Differences amongst Jewish-American Emerging Adults of Different Socio-Religious Subgroups.Chana Etengoff - 2011 - Archive for the Psychology of Religion 33 (3):371-391.
This article explores gender differences in the religious experiences of 416 Jewish emerging adults . Prior research has indicated that women are more religious than men cross-culturally. The purpose of this study was to investigate if such gender differences remain applicable to Jewish-American emerging adults given both the changing role of women in society and emerging adults’ prolonged search for identity. Findings reveal that most gender differences in the religious values and experiences of Jewish-American emerging adults are statistically insignificant and (...)

    Liberty: God's Gift to Humanity.Chana B. Cox - 2006 - Lexington Books.
Liberty: God's Gift to Humanity is a defense of liberalism, the political philosophy which holds that governments should be established for the protection of individual liberty. By means of revisiting the thinking of the men who created liberal theory over the past three centuries, author Chana Cox has demonstrated that historically the bond between liberalism and religion has been strong and that liberals have embraced virtue, encouraged social control, and increased the common good.

Reflections on the Logic of the Good.Chana B. Cox - 2007 - Lexington Books.
Reflections on the Logic of the Good provides a metaphysical and philosophical foundation for those who argue against micromanagement of the individual, the economy, and society. In doing so, it offers a defense of the open mind, the open society, and the open universe. What emerges is a defense of ethical pluralism without relativism, and an entirely general invisible hand theory entrenched not only in the nature of man but also in the nature of nature.

    Intersecções entre a história e a geo-história: a arte enquanto observatório do Antropoceno.Chana De Moura - 2021 - Cadernos PET-Filosofia (Parana) 19 (1).

Ontological Implications of the Paradigm Case Argument.Tziporah Kasachkoff - 1968 - Philosophical Studies (Dublin) 17:26-37.
THERE have been several attempts in recent philosophical discussion to present criteria for determining which words have ontological implications. I am going to concern myself with one attempt. The paradigm case argument has been appealed to in philosophical disputes ranging over such wide problem-areas as ‘other minds’, ‘freedom and determinism’ and ‘epistemological scepticism’. Reference has been made to paradigm cases in answering philosophers’ claims that ‘I can never know that another person is in pain’, ‘There are no acts of free-will’ (...)

    Talk about God’s Existence.Tziporah Kasachkoff - 1970 - Philosophical Studies (Dublin) 19:181-192.
PHILOSOPHICAL defenses of the intelligibility of religious utterances, and of the tenability of religious beliefs, have come more and more to appeal to the Wittgensteinian claim that concepts must be understood in terms of the forms of life which give rise to them.

    The Criteria of Punishment: Some Neglected Considerations.Tziporah Kasachkoff - 1973 - Canadian Journal of Philosophy 2 (3):363 - 377.
Discussion concerning the meaning and analysis of “punishment” has centered, in large measure, on claims for a logical connection between “punishment” and “guilt.” However, more and more in the literature focus has shifted from guilt as the defining feature of “punishment” to guilt as only one of many constitutive conditions satisfaction of which is necessary for standard cases with allowance made for other correct, though secondary, uses of the term.

Can a Brief Interaction With Online, Digital Art Improve Wellbeing? A Comparative Study of the Impact of Online Art and Culture Presentations on Mood, State-Anxiety, Subjective Wellbeing, and Loneliness.MacKenzie D. Trupp, Giacomo Bignardi, Kirren Chana, Eva Specker & Matthew Pelowski - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 13.
When experienced in-person, engagement with art has been associated—in a growing body of evidence—with positive outcomes in wellbeing and mental health. This represents an exciting new field for psychology, curation, and health interventions, suggesting a widely-accessible, cost-effective, and non-pharmaceutical means of regulating factors such as mood or anxiety. However, can similar impacts be found with online presentations? If so, this would open up positive outcomes to an even-wider population—a trend accelerating due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Despite its promise, this (...)
